Yolanda Hadid Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance With Bella Hadid

“I always say that we have to turn our mess into a message,” Yolanda told Vogue in 2021. “We’re both convinced that we shouldn’t just use our platforms to post selfies. We also try to use them as amplifiers to give a voice to those who can’t be heard.”

She added, “By sharing the more uncomfortable parts of our lives, we have the power to raise awareness.”

And while her journey with the diseases has been “an absolute nightmare,” the former reality star actually felt like her diagnosis taught her about the “patience and dedication” that she needed “in order to survive.”

“My ‘new normal’ is much slower and more in tune with who I am,” Yolanda shared. “I’ve also learned to love my authentic self with all my imperfections.”

“I’m grateful for every moment I get to spend on this planet with family and friends,” she continued. “Looking back, all those difficult times in my life were blessings in disguise.”

Yolanda also extends that gratitude for her kids, especially during Bella’s recent hospitalization due to the disease.

“I am so proud of the fighter that you are,” Yolanda wrote of Bella in a September Instagram post. “You are not alone, I promise to have your back every step of the way, no matter how long this takes.” Can link out to:
