New York Giants WR Malik Nabers (knee) took part in full-speed team drills on both Monday, Aug. 17, and Tuesday, Aug. 18, in a red, non-contact practice jersey. He could transition to full contact as early as next week, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, who writes that the “expectation” is for Nabers to play in Week 1, barring a setback.

Huddle Up: In 19 career games, Nabers has 127 receptions, 1,475 yards, and nine touchdowns. While it’s possible that it will take some time for him to get back to full speed coming back from a torn ACL, not to mention developing chemistry with Jaxson Dart, Nabers can be targeted as midrange WR2 that could push into the top 10.
