The Ravens’ social media team is one of the best in the NFL, and the hype is growing after Baltimore’s first joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings produced a mixed afternoon. Still, the team’s video crew captured several exciting plays.
Lamar Jackson connected with rookie Ja’Kobi Lane on a tightly covered sideline throw, giving the receiver another opportunity to show his strength at the catch point. Jackson also found LaJohntay Wester in space, and the second-year receiver turned upfield for yardage.
Derrick Henry supplied a familiar image on the afternoon after the all-world running back followed his blocking, powered through traffic, and accelerated into the second level, offering Minnesota an early look at the physical challenge Baltimore’s backfield can present.
The defensive clips reflected the unit that controlled much of practice. Nate Wiggins stayed attached downfield and knocked away a pass, continuing his encouraging work after returning to action. Keondre Jackson also broke up a throw, drawing a loud reaction from a Baltimore sideline that celebrated the play like a turnover.
