    Cardi B‘s kids were born to flex with diamonds on their necks. 

    The “Bodak Yellow” rapper shared insight into “absolutely” building an empire for her and ex Offset‘s kids Kulture, 8, Wave, 5, and Blossom, 2, as well as her 10-month-old baby with Stefon Diggs.

    “I was panicking,” Cardi admitted to Entertainment Tonightin an interview published Sept. 22. “I leave this earth and my kids are going to have just music royalties and they’re mostly going to have to be arguing people about it.”

    So, the Grammy winner has been motivated to expand her portfolio of assets.

    “They’re going to have a couple of properties and a couple of liquid money,” she explained. Recalling her thought process at the time, she added, “What is something that, God forbid, something happens to me, I leave behind that is for them? God forbid something happened to me, this is theirs.”

    And Cardi has already enlisted Kulture for some help, with her daughter starring in a commercial for her haircare company Grow Good Beauty.

    “It’s funny because when we was doing the commercial,” she recalled. “I kept saying, ‘Don’t make the shoots be so long ’cause then she gets uncomfortable, then she doesn’t want to do it.’ But she was with everything. She was really like, ‘I want this. I want to do this.'”

    In fact, the 33-year-old believes Kulture has “a bright future” in front of the camera.

    Although the mom of four will make sure her kids are going to be stunnin’ and shinin’ into adulthood, she has also put an emphasis on education and work ethic.

    “Please don’t be lazy,” she shared of her lessons to her kids during her October 2025 appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast. “Don’t be a bum. Some people have the looks, the intelligence, the talent. Some people really have that. But they don’t go nowhere because they’re lazy.”

    Indeed, she’s not interested in her kids cashing her big fat checks their whole lives.

    “Don’t just be, ‘Oh, your parents are this and that,'” Cardi added. “No, be your own person. Be your own human. Be something. Be something you could be proud of.”

    While the “Please Me” rapper will be leaving her fortune to her kids, some celebs won’t be following suit. Keep reading for more stars who have a different approach than Cardi about their own wills.
