Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., the son of former Crimson Tide first-round pick Dre Kirkpatrick Sr., was suspended indefinitely before Alabama’s win against Texas A&M on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The suspension is due to an unspecified violation of team rules. The Tuscaloosa News, part of the USA TODAY Network, reported Monday, Oct. 26 that Kirkpatrick Jr. is dealing with legal issues off the field stemming from a “leaving scene accident,” according to court documents.
