University of Houston tight end Patrick Overmyer was back at practice Monday and will play Saturday against Cincinnati, coach Willie Fritz said.
Overmyer, who had a team-leading seven touchdowns, was injured on the Cougars’ opening drive in the 21-13 loss to then-No. 10 Utah on Oct. 24. He suffered what the team described as a upper-body injury.
