Watch: Miley Cyrus Shouts Out Dad Billy Ray Cyrus Amid His Absence at Walk of Fame Ceremony
Miley Cyrus‘ brother is calling out their sister Brandi Cyrus.
Trace Cyrus accused the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcaster of renting him what he called a “mold infested” home, bluntly telling her in an expletive-filled rant, “F–k you.”
“This is just one of the many problems since I moved into this house,” the Metro Station rocker said in May 25 videos shared on Instagram Story and captured by fans. “It’s been problem after problem. I just got clean water f–king recently. I didn’t even have clean f–king water.”
Trace, 37, went to alleged that Brandi, 39, “doesn’t want to refund me my money.”
“It just never ceases to amaze me, the way that I’m treated by my own family is absolutely f–king disgusting,” he continued. “Brandi, don’t hit up anyone else to do your talking for you. If you want to talk, call my f–king phone.”
Trace’s tirade comes on the heels of a family reconciliation between Miley, 33, and their dad Billy Ray Cyrus, who divorced their mom Tish Cyrus in 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage.
“I took on some of my mom’s hurt as my own because it hurt her more than it hurt me as an adult, and so I owned a lot of her pain,” the Hannah Montana alum told the New York Times last year, explaining how she realized she can “love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing” after Tish got remarried to Dominic Purcell in 2023. “I’m being an adult about it.”
But there were times when she and other members of the Cyrus family were estranged from one another. As Miley put it in a June 2025 episode of the Reclaiming podcast, “Dark decade? Yeah, we had one of those.”

“Half of us weren’t speaking to each other at one point,” explained the Grammy winner, who is also sister to Noah Cyrus, 26, and Braison Cyrus, 32, as well as Christopher Cyrus, 34, from Billy Ray’s past relationship with Kristin Luckey. “We cleaned all that up.”
In fact, Miley recently gave her dad a shoutout when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“My dad used to say that a skyscraper starts with a jackhammer, so does a star on the Walk of Fame, by the way,” she quipped during her May 22 induction ceremony. “And it’s not about the force, but it’s about the repetition.”
Miley added, “What feels so special to me about this star is that it’s an accumulation of devotion.”
