    Watch: The Timeline of Jax Taylor’s Romance With Brittany Cartwright’s Ex Publicist Lori Krebs Revealed

    Jax Taylorhasn’t been Lori Krebs’ number one guy for long. 

    Following the news that the Vanderpump Rules star and the publicist—who has counted both him and estranged wife Brittany Cartwrightas clients—are dating, the timeline on their relationship is being clarified.

    “There was never a years-long secret affair, and there was no romantic relationship while Jax and Brittany were together,” a source told E! News. “Their relationship changed only in the last several months, after both had already been separated.”

    Both Taylor and Krebs have been going through the process of divorce, with the House of Villains alum separating from Cartwright—with whom he shares 5-year-old son Cruz—in 2024.  

    Still, Taylor, 47, has received major heat from his former castmate Kristen Doute for becoming involved with someone so close to his ex. 

    “Jax is so diabolical,” she told host Andy Cohen during a July 22 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “Like, of course.”

    But she had the most scathing words for Krebs, who had been Cartwright’s publicist for over a decade.

    “This is Brittany’s trusted paid professional, a friend, basically part of her family for the past decade,” she continued. “It’s so totally deceitful. It’s her publicist. The one person who knows the ins and outs of everything.” 

    Adding in his two cents, Doute and Cartwright’s The Valley costar Zack Wickham shared his regrets on being in Krebs’ corner when her and Taylor’s romance first came to light.

    “I was actually this person’s biggest defender when rumors had come out before,” he shared from the WWHL audience. “Because she’s been friends with our group for 10-plus years. I was like, ‘Jax is a liar, duh.'” 

    As for Cartwright’s perspective on this surprising romance?

    “All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth—the truth—on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready,” the 37-year-old said on the July 17 episode of her podcast When Reality Hits. “As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son.”

    E! reached out to Cartwright’s manager for comment but has not heard back.
