Watch: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Share Rare Photo With Both Kids Archie and Lilibet in the U.K.
Meghan Markle is sharing a glimpse at her family’s trip to the United Kingdom.
The Duchess of Sussex posted a carousel of new photos from her and Prince Harry‘s summer trip across the pond with their kids Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, including a rare shot of the whole family.
As Meghan captioned her July 23 Instagram post, “Summer Holiday,” alongside a sunshine emoji.
One of the 44-year-old’s sweet pics captured the foursome during a family day at the beach. In the shot, Meghan, who was wearing a low-cut black one-piece swimsuit with sneakers and a baseball hat, looked on as Archie and Lilibet played in the waves with their father. Meghan and Lilibet also spent quality time together at the shore, walking hand in hand on the beach in another photo.
And while Archie just turned 7 in May, he’s growing up so fast. After all, a shockingly tall Archie could be seen going for a walk in the countryside sans shoes in another one of his mom’s photos. He also seems to have taken after his dad by developing an interest in planes, as Archie was photographed hanging out in the pilot’s seat in the cockpit of one aircraft (not unlike Harry, who became an Apache helicopter commander while in the British army).
It wasn’t the only way the kids connected to Harry’s roots on the U.K. trip. They also reunited with King Charles for the first time in four years and appeared to pay tribute to his late mom Princess Diana as well.
Indeed, another photo in Meghan’s post featured Lilibet in a floral printed dress walking down a sunny grass path framed with trees, while Harry and Archie could be seen in the background holding large bouquets. Royal fans speculate the photo was taken at Althorp estate in West Northamptonshire, England, best known for being Princess Diana’s ancestral home.

While it’s unconfirmed that Harry and Meghan visited Diana’s burial site on the estate, the family makes sure to honor the late Princess of Wales every year following her 1997 death in a Paris car crash at age 36.
As for how Harry and his family celebrate Diana’s birthday July 1 and the anniversary of her death on Aug. 31? He shared during a Q&A at Scotty’s Summer Festival in Warwickshire July 11, per People, “We do lemon drizzle cake.”

“I think traditions are really, really important,” the 41-year-old added, “especially when they’re sweet.”
