If we do a podcast segment on, say, a Knicks-Sixers series, I might follow up here with a more detailed analysis on some X’s-and-O’s nuance we glided over on the show because nitty-gritty breakdowns don’t work as well in audio form. The video clips and still images you might remember from my old columns could be part of that. If I record my first podcast of the week on a Monday morning and there is a marquee matchup that night—Thunder-Spurs anyone?—then I might write a missive about that game, since it would be old-ish news by the time of my next episode. If I get wind of a newsy nugget and verify it, a quickie post on that could pop up in your inbox. If some minor but weirdly fascinating trade gets short shrift on the podcast, it might take center stage here.
