Super Eagles: Moses Usor names Nigerian player he wants to emulate

Super Eagles winger, Moses Usor has named the Nigerian player he wants to emulate in his career.

Usor recently made his debut for Nigeria against Madagascar in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Friday.

The LASK star scored the winning goal as the Super Eagles defeated Madagascar 2-1 in Uyo.

Speaking to Footy-Africa, Usor said he wants to be like his teammate, Moses Simon, because of his humility.

“I want to be like Moses Simon — his consistency, his humility, his commitment to the team over so many seasons,” Usor said.

“It’s special to share the name Moses and go through this night with him. Getting to 100 caps for Nigeria is a massive achievement.”

Usor will hope to feature for Nigeria when they face Guinea-Bissau in their next match on Tuesday.
