Ballon d’Or 2026: ‘It’s complicated’ – Monchi names player who deserves to win award

Espanyol’s sporting director, Monchi has named the player who deserves to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

Speaking to the media at a recent event via SPORT, Monchi was asked in depth about several topics in football.

Monchi simply said, “It’s complicated. I think there is a case for three or four players who can qualify for it.”
