Southampton boss Tonda Eckert has provided an update on Mads Roerslev and Caspar Jander ahead of their Championship clash with Millwall.
Jander has suffered a slight setback in his recovery and has taken longer than initially expected to return.

“Yes, we were hoping for him to return a little bit quicker,” he said.
“The initial plan has now taken a little bit longer. His muscle hasn’t really reacted too well on the first training sessions.
“But we’re talking about a week back in time and the last days have been positive, so I’m hoping that will be very soon.”
On Roerslev, he said: “Yes, he’s looking good physically at the very moment.
“I think that the competition for him with James [Bree] is not easy, but he looks good physically.”
Eckert also welcomed the return of James Ward-Prowse, with the midfielder re-joining Southampton from West Ham.

“I think he will get going straight away. [It’s] very exciting,” Eckert said.
“We’ve been in conversation with Prowsey for a couple of weeks now.
“We’ve seen how much he can give to this football club. He was very clear on his wish to come back very early on.”
