On Wednesday, the baseball postseason picture got a little clearer when three teams advanced to their respective League Championship Series. With the Tampa Bay Rays sweeping the New York Yankees, as well as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers taking care of business, there’s now one spot left in the final four.

On this episode of the Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman recap all the League Division Series action so far, including the Rays taking down their division rival Yankees in The Bronx. While Tampa Bay will await to see who they play for the pennant, the bigger question is where The Bronx Bombers go from here. After yet another disappointing finish and their World Series drought hitting 17 years now, do the Yankees need a major change to get them over the hump?
Later in the show, Jake and Jordan take a look at how the Dodgers were able to overcome a rough Game 2 against the Atlanta Braves and why their starting pitching, clearly the strength of this team, is what makes them the favorites to win the World Series. They then break down an exciting Game 4 between the Brewers and San Diego Padres that saw Garrett Mitchell make an impact at the plate and on the field, helping put the Brew Crew back in the NLCS for a date with the Dodgers. The guys close the show by catching us up on where things stand between the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox as they play a big Game 4 in the Windy City to see if the ALDS will go the distance.
