    Pregnant Jen Affleck Celebrates Daughter’s Birthday Amid Divorce

    Jen Affleck is keeping the focus on her kids. 

    One day after filing for divorce from husband ZacAffleck, theSecret Lives of Mormon Wives star took a moment to celebrate daughter Nora’s 5th birthday with a sweet Instagram message. 

    Jen posted a photo of Nora to her Instagram Story Nov. 4, showing her posing with a bicycle while wearing a pink shorts and shirt set covered with Disney princesses. The room was filled with balloons, including a large balloon garland that read, “Happy Birthday.” Jen captioned the sweet picture, “I can’t believe she’s already 5.”

    The celebration comes shortly after news broke that the 27-year-old had filed for divorce from Zac, 30, on Nov. 3 after seven years of marriage, according to Utah court records obtained by E! News.

    The two first met in 2018 on the Mormon dating app Mutual and married in June 2019, six months after getting engaged. In addition to Nora, Jen and Zac are also parents to kids Luca, 3, and Penelope, 16 months, and are currently expecting their fourth child together.

    Still, despite Jen’s pregnancy, the pair had been candid about the struggles they faced throughout the marriage, many of which were documented on SLOMW and its upcoming spinoff series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which followed Zac and Jen as they moved to Southern California. 

    “It’s been a lot the past couple of months, I’ll be honest,” Jen admitted toPeoplein August. “But I do feel like I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and just trying to count my blessings every single day.”

    She’d also shared how Zac had been there for her and their kids when there was “a lot that we’ve been navigating behind closed doors,” including her struggle with prenatal depression during her first trimester. 

    “I could not be there for my kids, and so Zac really had to show up,” she said. “I mean, he didn’t really have a choice.”

    The reality star added, “I wouldn’t have survived the first trimester without him.”
