    Watch: ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Stars Pari Kim and Tina Zhu Xi Caruso Confirm Breakup

    Pari Kim and Tina Zhu Xi Caruso’s T-riffic romance has come to an end.

    The Love on the Spectrum stars—who met during season three of the hit Netflix series—announced they have decided to part ways.

    “A few people have been asking if me and Tina are still together,” Pari wrote on Instagram Stories April 24. “I just wanted to be honest and let you all know that we are just friends now, two trains on different tracks, but I wish her the best and a bright, T-riffic future!”

    Pari and Tina hit it off during a blind date on the third season of the hit reality show, where Pari shared her dream of finding a “T-Princess,” in reference to her love for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority, commonly referred to as the “T.”

    And reflecting on their time together, Pari used a fitting analogy to explain how the duo naturally grew in different directions.

    “Trains come and go to all different destinations,” Pari captioned an April 24 Instagram post featuring a photo of blue and purple trains. “Some may come into each other’s routes and stations then diverge and go their own separate ways just like MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak. And that is okay.”

    “Both are still valid,” she added. “Both serve their own purposes. Both will reach the light at the end of the tunnel.”

    Meanwhile, Tina shared that though the pair will not be moving forward with their romantic relationship, there’s no bad blood.

    “It’s mutual,” Tina wrote on Instagram April 24 alongside a snap of the two dressed as Wicked’s Glinda and Elphaba. “@purpleprincesspari and I have spit up. We’re just friends now.”

    “We are like Glinda and Elphaba in the way we advocate for what we believe in,” the reality TV star continued. “I’m the Elphaba and I can’t wait to show the world how I advocate. Pari will continue to advocate like Glinda. I hope we can still advocate as friends for things we believe in like public transportation and disability advocacy.”

A featured couple on all four seasons of Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum, which captured their romance starting with that first 2021 date at San Diego Zoo Safari Park, the Los Angeles-based duo ended their nearly five-year romance in 2026. Abbey praised her partner on a March 2026 episode of We Need to Talk, explaining how “he says things that make me feel good” and “covers my ears when there’s a certain noise I don’t like, for sensory.” She also detailed their shared love of burgers, fries, spaghetti (“We’re both carby people”) and Disney movies like The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. But ultimately they decided they didn’t want to be part of each other’s world. “Neither one of us are ready to get married,” she told a producer during season four. “I don’t want to be a divorced lady like my mom, so that’s why I don’t want to rush it, take my time to get married.”

Jones have set their sights on a new project. “We have been living in our house for three months now,” he told Netflix’s Tudum of their new Boston-area digs. “We’ve already done so much work on it, making it an extension of ourselves, so it feels like a home to us.” Two years into their relationship, noted Shelley, cohabitating feels “very easy, comfortable, and right.” And she, of course, remains his home base. “She and I are soulmates, kindred spirits, and, while we are not identical to each other, we are very similar to each other,” James added. “We each inspire the other to grow and develop, to be the best versions of ourselves.”
