Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson exited Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers with an ankle injury suffered on the first drive of the game. The good news is that it doesn’t sound like something particularly serious.
After being looked at in the medical tent, Jefferson was seen testing his ankle out on the sideline. Eventually, he went back to the locker room for more testing. He was ultimately ruled out in the second half. Head coach Kevin O’Connell said postgame that Jefferson will be evaluated further on Monday, but his comments felt fairly positive overall.

“He tried to work through it,” O’Connell said. “Got close a couple times. Ended up being ruled out. We’ll evaluate him more tomorrow.”
