    Watch: Kaley Cuoco Gives Birth, Welcomes Baby No. 2 With Fiancé Tom Pelphrey

    Kaley Cuoco’s daughters were destined to be besties since the Big Bang.

    One week after the Big Bang Theory actress gave birth to her and fiancé Tom Pelphrey’s second daughter Philomena, she gave a peek at how their eldest Matilda, 3, is adjusting to her new role as big sister.

    In a snap shared to her Instagram Stories Oct. 19, Cuoco sat alongside Matilda on a couch as the toddler smiled and cuddled with Philomena, who gave a slight smirk while lying in her sister’s lap.

    The Flight Attendant alum also posted a mirror selfie of herself holding the newborn, celebrating her first major milestone with the caption, “One week old over here.”

    The week before, Cuoco announced the arrival of Philomena, who she quipped was not actually her daughter, but instead was “Matilda’s baby.”

    “There are no words to describe this feeling once again,” the 40-year-old wrote on Instagram Oct. 14 alongside a carousel of baby pictures. “What a blessing. We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo!”

    She added, “Family officially complete.”

    Cuoco also expressed her love for Pelphrey, who she started dating in 2022.

    “Life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming,” she continued. “I love you forever, girl daddy!”

    For his part, Pelphrey previously emphasized that he and Cuoco were up for the task as parents of two little ones—and that Matilda was ready for her new role, too.

    “We’re both so excited,” he told E! News at the Emmys Sept. 14. “Our daughter’s excited. We’ll see how it goes when the baby actually gets there, but switching rooms, swapping things around and laughing at how different it is from one to two.”

    But regardless of the new pace of life as a family of four, the Emmy winner was looking forward to welcoming Philomena into the world, even giving her a special shoutout during his acceptance speech last month. 

    “Baby girl in that belly,” he said, “Daddy loves you.” 

    Plus, Pelphrey turned his gaze to Cuoco, adding, “To my favorite actor in this room, my love, my best friend, my partner, the very pregnant Kaley Cuoco. I love you more than anything, and our family is the crown jewel of my life.”
