Juventus confirmed Federico Gatti was not training today as a precaution after he sustained a minor injury when tackled by a fan.
It was a somewhat unusual reason for getting hurt, but the unfortunate incident happened during the final pre-season friendly test at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin.

As per tradition, the game between the senior side and the Next Gen youth team doesn’t reach a full 90 minutes, because it gets interrupted by a peaceful pitch invasion from the stands.
It usually lasts at least 60-70 minutes, but this time the crowd was eager to get it over with and rushed the field just after half-time.

During the run onto the turf, one over-enthusiastic fan crashed into the back of Gatti, who was looking the other way and therefore didn’t have time to make a run for the tunnel.
The supporter caught Gatti’s ankle and he did not train today as a precaution due to that knock, but should be fit enough to be part of the squad for this weekend’s Serie A opener against Frosinone.
Andrea Cambiaso, Arkadiusz Milik and Jeff Ekhator also trained separately to nurse minor issues.
