The new grass on the field at the Buffalo Bills‘ new Highmark Stadium home has caught plenty of attention this offseason.
The eye test alone showed how parts of the field kept on being dug up by cleats and football activities. It became so back that the issue became an injury concern. Players have even expressed that concern.

The Bills are using the new $2.2 billion stadium for the first time during its 2026 campaign after three years of construction.
Since the end of the preseason and ahead of the regular season, the Bills have responded.
The Buffalo News reported that the Bills planned to re-sod the field prior to the start of the regular season. That is evidently a process underway, because a photo has leaked.
