Watch: Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Pal George Kittle Reveals One Rule For Wedding Guests
You can bet George Kittle is still thinking aboutTaylor SwiftandTravis Kelce’s wedding.
Almost three weeks after the San Francisco 49ers tight end attended the wedding of his fellow NFL star and the Grammy winner at Madison Square Garden, he’s still enchanted to have been part of it.
“The entire thing was fantastic,” Kittle shared with ChrisSimms on the July 23 episode of his Unbuttoned podcast. “I had so much fun.”
And the experience was extra special because Kittle was joined not only by wife Claire, but also by his parents Bruce and Jan, as well Claire’s mom Shelly,after Swift and Kelce bonded with the whole crew at Tight End University.
“Travis likes Bruce a lot, but then the moms got invited because of Tight End U last year, where they hung out with Taylor for a long time, and she just really liked them,” Kittle explained. “So that was kind of fun to have like a family outing at Madison Square Garden.”
Plus, the NFL star got to rub elbows with plenty of stars he “never thought” he’d have the chance to meet—many of whom ended up being 49ers fans.
As for the ceremony itself, Kittle could hardly believe how much Swift and Kelce made the whole place shimmer with the vows they’d written.

“They both did such a fantastic job explaining, like telling a story of who they were, and then what they came to be,” he recalled. “So that was really fun to see.”
But perhaps most importantly, “AdamSandler absolutely crushed it, I will say that as well. I was giggling in my seat and that was fantastic.”
While Swift and Kelce have been laying somewhat low since tying the knot in front of 1,000 of their evergreen group of friendson July 3, Kittle was able to spend some time with Kelce and Swift at the 2026 iteration of Tight End University last month, which was launched by Kelce, Kittle and former NFL tight end Greg Olsen in 2021 to bring the tight end community together.
“She’s just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding,” Kittle toldPeople at the time. “So we’re just so thankful that they’re here.”
Indeed, Swift even dedicated her final performance as a fiancée—her Fearless hit “Love Story”—to her now-husband’s fellow tight end, who previously told her it was his favorite of her discography.

“Well, hello Nashville,” Swift said ahead of performing the track alongside Lainey Wilson. “This was a very special request from a very special tight end. And that tight end…is George Kittle.”
As for what Kittle gifted the newlywed couple?
“They said absolutely no gifts,” Kittle told Extra during TEU. “But I was thinking Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin.”
Of course, Kittle and his wife Claire—who tied the knot in 2019—also had a bit of free advice for Kelce and Swift heading into their marriage. As he put it, “Just have so much fun with all of your friends.”
