Owen however insists Arsenal remain the “team to beat” this season.
As it stands, City sit top of the table with 18 points, three points ahead of the Gunners.

City have won all their six fixtures so far, while Mikel Arteta’s men have lost once.
Before the season started, Owen predicted that the loss of Pep Guardiola and key players like Rodri, Bernardo Silva and John Stones would hamper City’s title hopes.

“I thought that City might struggle to win the league and I still think Arsenal are the team to beat – don’t get me wrong – but I’ve been really impressed with the way City, and they look like they’ll be right in the mix,” Owen told the UK Metro.
