Roque Conceicao showed it all at Dana White’s Contender Series 95 with a dominant performance against Alexander Chavez that ended in a slick submission.
After Conceicao (12-3) landed some strong strikes on the feet, he found himself on his back and on the bottom in the flyweight bout on Tuesday at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. From there, he worked toward a triangle choke submission, but Chavez (9-1) attempted to slam out of it. He failed, the submission was locked it and the tap was made at the 3:37 mark of Round 1.
