Watch: Bebe Rexha Shoots Her Shot With “F–king Hot” Riley Green at AMAS 2026 (Exclusive)
Riley Green is searching for the right girl to come home tonight.
Despite his heartthrob status, the country singer revealed that it hasn’t been easy for him to maintain a romance with his busy schedule, which means that he is currently living the single life.
“I struggle to think there’s a girl that’s… I can barely make this lifestyle work,” he told People in an interview published Oct. 30. “I think that’s probably a battle for anybody that’s in a demanding position … just a career where you’re on the road 200-plus days a year. I was busy before I started filming The Voice. Now I’m in L.A. every day.”
The 38-year-old admitted that his “lifestyle has just got to change a little bit,” before he can focus on a relationship. In the meantime, he finds ways to stay grounded through his family.
“What gets me by now, without having those things that I’m hoping for, is I get to FaceTime my nephew and see what he’s doing and watch him play sports and catch up with my family,” Green shared. “We’re all still really close. They make it bearable in a pretty hectic lifestyle right now.”
But when the “Worst Way” singer does ultimately meet someone special, he’s ready to pull out all the stops, recalling how he surprised a former date with a fully decorated tent setup for Valentine’s Day.
“There’s this real pretty spot at my farm up above the lake,” he said. “And I set it up and had little string lights in there and had a whole little campfire.”
“It was a little surprise thing. I thought that was pretty romantic,” he added. “I don’t know how she felt about it.”

And should he find someone who looks like she loves him, Green has already got the perfect first date in mind.
“I’m a big movie guy. If I could find a drive-in, wouldn’t that be cool?” Green pondered. “I’m sure they still have them. Maybe a steak somewhere and a drive-in to watch an old movie.”
As for the type of movie? He’s more than happy with a romcom after having grown up with two sisters.
“I can handle it,” he said. “I like all the Matthew McConaughey, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days kind of stuff. The Wedding Planner, The Wedding Date, My Best Friend’s Wedding, all that.”
