Watch: Sharon Osbourne Says Plastic Surgery “Mistake” Left Dent in Her Face
Celebrities are reshaping the conversation by being candid about their plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures.
Take, Jennifer Lawrence, for instance. Volunteering as tribute to share her own experience, the Hunger Games star confirmed she had a breast augmentation following the birth of her second son and that she’d like to have a facelift one day.
“I want to be a sexy mom,” Lawrence—who shares her boys with husband Cooke Maroney—told The Cut in a recent interview. “At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s–t together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my s–t together.”
And these aren’t the only procedures in her playbook.
“I need to have movement in my face—I get baby Botox, but I can’t do a lot,” the Silver Linings Playbook alum, 36, noted to Vogue in September. “If my skin is going to be a little saggier than I would like, at least it looks dewy and pretty.”
Still, there are some Lawrence isn’t hustling over to try.
“Oh, I’m really nervous about these fat transfers,” she continued. “I support other people doing them because I want to continue to watch and see what happens, but I don’t know about that. I mean, I would love to have a buccal fat removal. I can’t because everybody would know, but just know that I want that.”
Meanwhile, Barry Keoghan expressed how he wasn’t feeling salty after his second XERF skin tightening treatment.
“I feel better about myself,” the Saltburn actor, 34, stated in a video shared by Dermaspa owner Nilam Holmes, whose website lists the price at about $3,300 per session. “I look better. I think it’s important to look after yourself inside and outside.”
So, while cosmetic procedures and surgeries aren’t for everyone and can come with their own risks, several celebs have laid it all on the table in terms of what getting these changes has been like for them and how much they cost.
