The Cleveland Browns have started their long weekend off before they start preparations for Week One next week, as the long wait for the return of regular-season NFL football is almost over, with the first game of the year less than a week away now. But the Browns are hoping that one of their top pass catchers can get healthy during their long break so he is ready to face the Jaguars next weekend.
Wide receiver Isaiah Bond, who the team has high hopes for this year, remains in concussion protocol and didn’t practice during any of the team’s practice sessions this week. The team is excited for year two of Bond, especially with the added talent around him, and he gives them another threat to create explosive plays downfield with his speed.

The long weekend will give him a good amount of time to get healthy, but with the Browns quarterback situation the way that it is, they need all the weapons they can get healthy and on the field to try and improve this passing attack after how bad it was in 2025.
