The B.C. government wants two Lower Mainland residences and several vehicles linked to a trio of alleged drug and firearms traffickers forfeited as instruments of unlawful activity.

The director of civil forfeiture filed a lawsuit last week arguing that a Langley condo worth $749,000 and a Surrey house, assessed at more than $1.6 million, should be handed over to the province for alleged links to unlawful activity.

The director’s statement of claim alleges Jasraj Judge, Rudi Skladowski and Amarvir Chatha “were engaged in trafficking controlled substances and firearms in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.”

And because of that suspected criminal activity, Skladowski’s condo and Chatha’s family home should be forfeited, the lawsuit says.

As well, a 2025 Lincoln Aviator owned by Skladowski, a 2018 Honda Accord and 2017 Audi Q7 linked to Judge, and a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Chatha should also be forfeited, the director said.

The lawsuit stems from an investigation by Langley RCMP officers that culminated last month with search warrants and arrests on April 8. So far, nobody has been criminally charged, despite the commencement of civil forfeiture proceedings.

When police searched Skladowski’s condo in the 20300-block of 86 Avenue in Langley, officers found $20,000 cash, about half a kilogram of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, packaging and a scale, precious metals in the form of collector coins and bars, as well as high-end purses, wallets, shoes and clothing.

Skladowski was arrested and the Lincoln seized, the director’s statement of claim said.

The same day, Chatha’s family home in the 16400-block of 78 Avenue in Surrey was searched. Langley RCMP investigators found two carbine rifles, two shotguns, two handguns and bags of ammunition, about a kilo of cocaine, and about $15,000 cash.

Also on April 8, Judge, who lives in Surrey, was arrested, the lawsuit said.

The Honda and Audi, registered in his mother’s name, were seized.

“Judge used the Audi and the Honda to engage in unlawful activities, including to possess and traffic controlled substances and firearms in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia,” the director alleged.

None of the three alleged traffickers has a criminal history in B.C., according to the online court database.

But the director said the vehicles and properties “have been used by J. Judge, R. Skladowski, and A. Chatha to engage in unlawful activities” including possession for the purpose of trafficking, drug trafficking, firearms trafficking, possession of firearms for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime, money laundering and failure to declare taxable income.
