Watch: Allison Williams Reacts to ‘Girls’ Costar Christopher Abbott Expecting Baby With Aubrey Plaza
Allison Williams is taking a risk and putting herself out there creatively to celebrate Christopher Abbott and Aubrey Plaza.
After it was confirmed that the Parks and Recreation actress is pregnant with her and the Girls star’s first baby together, Christopher’s former costar couldn’t contain her joy for the couple.
“I’m really excited for them,” Allison told E! News at the April 14 New York gala screening of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary. “It’s gonna be amazing. I’m one of those people that now I’m a mom where I’m like, ‘Oh my god, you don’t even know.’”
The 38-year-old—mom to son Arlo, 5, with husband Alexander Dreymon—joked, “It’s so obnoxious but I get so excited anytime I find out anyone is having a baby.”
But while the Regretting You actress has some parenting experience under her belt, she emphasized she has no words from the wise—and nor does anyone else.
“Don’t listen to anyone,” she stressed. “Trust your instincts. People have been doing this for as long as there have been people so just trust your instincts. Call your friends. Reach out.”
Although the M3GAN actress allowed herself to give one bit of advice, adding, “Let a stranger hold your baby so you can pee.”
Allison and Christopher have come a long way since starring opposite as Marnie Michaels and Charlie Dattolo in the Lena Dunham series, but she recently couldn’t help but reminisce on the pair’s iconic “The Panic in Central Park” episode from season five.

In the episode, which aired exactly 10 years ago this month, exes Marnie and Charlie serendipitously reunite for one last adventure, years after their split. It is lauded by Girls fans as one of the series’ best episodes, and Allison admitted it was “fascinating” to look back on.
“Lena wrote this incredible episode of television and I was so lucky that I got to be in it,” Allison mused. “What else can you say? I’m so moved. I’m glad it resonates with people. I’m glad it stops people from calling their exes. It’s doing a public service.”
Allison and Christopher might only be friendly exes onscreen, but there are plenty more stars in Hollywood who actually dated and have stayed cordial after their break up. Keep reading for more…
