Watch: Alix Earle Reveals Exact Moment She Saw Alex Cooper’s Video About Feud
You can call her daddy, but don’t call Alex Cooper a mean girl.
Days after she publicly challenged Alix Earle to speak about their ongoing feud, the Call Her Daddy podcast host had some words for fellow content creator Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia.
In a series of posts on her Instagram Stories on April 15, Cooper claimed that LaPaglia—who previously worked at Barstool Sports, the company that initially produced her podcast—was contributing to the false narrative that she was a “mean girl.”
“This girl on girl s–t needs to stop,” Cooper wrote. “While Alix tries to get her story together, let me address Brianna Chickenfry, who is adding onto the fake narrative and dog pile.”
“Brianna, you coming online saying I’m a mean girl, that I’m going to get destroyed, in peoples comments saying l hate Alex Cooper…” the 31-year-old continued. “Here are the facts. I have never met you in my life. The only communication we have ever had together is through dm.”
To prove her point, Cooper shared multiple alleged screenshots of their direct messages, which included discussions about Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and Brianna’s ex Zach Bryan.
In one message, LaPaglia, 26, warned Cooper about a comment that Portnoy allegedly made on his BFFs podcast as she cleared the air about her feelings.
“Hi Dave just got on bffs and said you hate me so wanted to dm you before the episode comes out and everyone goes insane Imao,” she wrote, “but I’m so sorry if when I said I haven’t listened to call her daddy it came off rude, always speak highly of you They cut clips to make me look like a c–t, you’re the blue print.”

According to the alleged screenshots, the two eventually cleared the air and went on to occasionally DM each other through the years about traveling with their dogs and party invites. And in October 2024, after LaPaglia’s public breakup with Bryan, Cooper sent her a message of support, writing, “I’m so sorry u went through that s–t. … Thank you for speaking on it, it’s gonna make a difference.”
In a separate slide, Cooper doubled down on her thoughts, even bringing LaPaglia’s former collaborator Grace O’Malley—who joined Cooper’s Unwell network in December 2024—into the mix.
“I never invited you on Call Her Daddy. Back during the Zach Bryan situation, I sent you a message of support,” she wrote on her Story April 15. “We never spoke negatively of you. Nothing negative happened during that time between Unwell, myself or you.”
“So speaking of mean girls… have never met you in my life,” Cooper continued. “What I just showed is the only interaction we’ve ever had. And you hate me? Wow. Please go back and read the dms. That has never been the nature of our relationship. Now back to Alix. And no this is not a pr stunt.”

But LaPaglia refused to let Cooper have the last word, and an hour later, she posted a TikTok hitting back at Cooper’s claims.
“OK, Alex Cooper just made a Tiktok about me saying that she’s not a mean girl, because we had nice DMS back when—before I found out everything about this girl,” she said, “and now the people that are saying this Alex on Alix crime is like a f–king PR stunt.”
Saying she met Cooper while she was at Barstool, LaPaglia continued, “I was a fan of Alex Cooper before I knew the wrath of f–king Alex Cooper and what she does to people and how she treats people.”
She also claimed to be friends with Earle, and said the Dancing With the Stars alum allegedly told her “everything that transpired” between her and Cooper two years ago at the Super Bowl.
“From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person,” LaPaglia continued. “Yeah, maybe my f–king narrative switched on you after I found things out about you. I used to be a fan. Clearly, I’m not anymore … And that video you made? That was Mean Girl 101.”
LaPaglia concluded her video by calling on Earle once more to “say her side of the story.”
E! News has reached out to reps for Cooper and Earle for comment, but has not received a response.
