Adeleke’s camp reacts to inclusion of Osun gov in Tinubu’s campaign team

The Imole Campaign Council, the camp of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, has reacted to the inclusion of its principal in President Bola Tinubu’s campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement by its Director-General, Olalere Oyewumi, on Tuesday, the camp pledged to deliver 1.5 million votes for Tinubu.

Oyewumi welcomed Adeleke’s inclusion in the revised All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council list.

Recall that Adeleke was named the Osun State Coordinator of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, PBAT, Presidential Campaign Council.

The Imole Campaign Council described Adeleke’s appointment as well-deserved, assuring President Tinubu that the governor would deliver the state for him in the presidential election.

“The Imole Campaign Council welcomes the appointment of Governor Adeleke as State Coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council in Osun.

“The appointment is a well-deserved one. We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the Presidential election will not be misplaced,” the statement said.
