Watch: Ryan Reynolds Praises “Fearless” Blake Lively Days After Justin Baldoni Settlement
You know you love Blake Lively‘s style.
And the Gossip Girl alum once again showed off her refined sense of fashion at a Fendi event in New York City on May 19, stepping out in a classic beige trench coat over a black tank top, matching jeans and pointed-toe heels.
She completed her look with a marquise diamond necklace and, of course, a Fendi baguette bag.
But the outfit was much more subtle than what she wore to the 2026 Met Gala earlier this month, when she ascended up the iconic staircase in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a colorful vintage Versace gown.
Keeping in with the star-studded fundraiser’s “Fashion Is Art” dress code, the pale yellow dress—which featured purple bejeweled embellishments on the bodice and a billowy ombre skirt with purple and pink fabrics—evoked the pastel sky depicted in Venetian Rococo paintings.
At the time, she carried a custom Judith Leiber bag decorated with artwork made by her and husband Ryan Reynolds‘ four kids: James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 3.
“My kids each painted a watercolor painting,” she told Vogue in a May 4 interview. “Each of my four kids did this. Isn’t that special? So I have them with me.”
Her appearance on fashion’s biggest night also coincided with the end of her yearslong legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni, who she was suing over retaliation and breach of contract allegations. Earlier that day, her legal team announced that Blake and Justin had agreed to settle before their trial.

“We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments,” Blake and Justin’s lawyers said in a joint statement to NBC News May 4. “It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment.”
Blake’s husband Ryan later praised the “fearless” actress, writing on Instagram Story May 10, “I appreciate this mother beyond measure.”
“She is kind,” the Deadpool star added. “She’s the absolute love of my life—and to our four little kids, she’s the life of their love.”
