Vice President Kashim Shettima has criticised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, saying he cannot differentiate between Ebola and flu despite studying hygiene.
Shettima made the remark on Monday while speaking at the Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja.
He accused Atiku of spreading fear among Nigerians through his comments on Ebola and said the President Bola Tinubu-led administration would not be distracted by the former vice president’s remarks.
“I dare him to put forward that his skill set. He was trained in sanitation at the Kano School of Hygiene, so he doesn’t have the skill set to govern a modern economy. That’s the painful truth. He can’t even differentiate between Ebola and flu,” Shettima said.
