The Presidency has lashed out at the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over his recent comments on the state of the nation.
The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on X on Wednesday, blasted Obi, stating that he always says what he does not practise.
Onanuga stated that Obi’s comments are misleading and aimed at deceiving the Nigerian people.
He asserted that while Obi was governor of Anambra State, he did not do what he is currently preaching to the Tinubu administration.

He called on the former governor to stop playing to the gallery and face reality, claiming that President Tinubu is working hard to fix the economy.
“Peter Obi just likes saying what he doesn’t practise,” he said.
He added that Obi’s undeclared offshore assets and business holdings were exposed in the global leak reports.
