At WWE Money in the Bank 2026, three of the company’s biggest stars clashed for the top prize in Raw’s women’s division.
Over the past several weeks, the trio of Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer have all been gunning for the Women’s World Championship. Morgan had defeated Vaquer to win that coveted title at WrestleMania 42 in April only for Vaquer to shockingly win it back at a non-televised live event in Vaquer’s home country of Chile last month.

In that match, Lynch served as the special guest referee and essentially cost Morgan the title. Then, on this week’s Raw, Morgan and Lynch clashed in a No. 1 contender’s match only for Vaquer to spoil the party and then ask Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to face both stars in a triple threat match at WWE Money in the Bank 2026.

The Women’s World Championship scene on Raw is suddenly a lot like the men’s WWE Championship picture on SmackDown.
Over the past couple of months, several marquee stars have been gunning for the WWE title currently held by Sami Zayn. Now, Morgan is once again is holding the Women’s World Championship amidst beef with both Lynch and Morgan. Of course, there’s now another potential factor involved here in the new Ms. Money in the Bank, Tiffany Stratton, who could potentially move to Raw if and when she cashes in.

After what transpired at Money in the Bank in New Orleans, WWE has several possible routes to take in the immediate future, including a high-profile singles match between Lynch and Vaquer as well as another match between Vaquer and Morgan. That’s a good problem to have, too.
For months, the extended absences of both Lynch and Vaquer left a notable star power gap at the top of Raw’s women’s division. Not so much anymore.
Raw now has a very impressive world title picture that could branch out into multiple different directions over the rest of 2026. Heading into the new year, Morgan could very well hold onto that championship for the long haul, but she likely hasn’t put Vaquer or Lynch in her rearview mirror just yet.
