Atlético de Madrid have officially announced their squad for today’s match. The main news is the return of captain Koke Resurrección, who is available to Diego Pablo Simeone once again after recovering from a fitness issue.
The most notable absentee is Cristian ‘Cuti’ Romero. The Argentine centre-back has been left out of the final squad due to fitness problems that prevent him from playing, forcing the coaching staff to reshuffle the defence with options such as Robin Le Normand and Dávid Hancko.

In goal, Jan Oblak heads the list alongside Juan Musso and academy graduate Esquivel. Marc Pubill, Alejandro Grimaldo and youngsters Daniel Martínez and Romeo Hueso complete the defensive contingent, bolstering Atlético’s back line in the absence of the Argentine international centre-back.
Koke’s return restores experience and leadership to midfield, where he is joined by in-form players such as Pablo Barrios, Marcos Llorente, Álex Baena and Rodrigo Mendoza. In attack, Julián Álvarez, Alexander Sørloth, Ademola Lookman and Giuliano Simeone provide Atlético’s firepower as they look to secure victory.
