Dallas was handicapped against Minnesota, as it played without Azzi Fudd for the second consecutive outing due to a knee injury, while Jessica Sheppard exited in the first quarter due to an ankle injury and did not return.

The Wings are amid their longest losing streak of the season, but Paige Bueckers remained unfazed, stressing that they have what it takes to get back on track.

“Staying positive. (When) we won six in a row, everybody was over the moon. Everybody was feeling great. We’re playing well individually. But you have to embrace the hard as much as you embrace the good. That’s what happens in this league. You go to stretches of great, you go to stretches of bad,” said Bueckers in the video posted by The Podium Finish’s Rob Tiongson.
“It’s all about how you handle adversity. Nobody’s going to be able to get us out of it than us. It’s a voice, a belief. We know what we’re capable of.”
