Watch: Why Love Is Blind’s Morrey Eglin Regrets Saying Benita Paloja Lovebombed Him in the Pods
Morrey Eglin has some regrets about his experience in the pods.
The Love Is Blind season 11 star admitted that he shouldn’t have suggested costar Benita Paloja “lovebombed” him early on in their dating journey, as he now understands why she was moving so fast.
“The emotions in the pods are really heightened, and things are really accelerated,” Morrey told E! News in an exclusive interview. “So I think Benita deserves a ton of grace, where you’re watching an episode of television and deciding you know everything about this girl.”
So, even though he initially accused Benita of lovebombing—over her comments like “I feel like I can fall in love with you” and “I have not been able to stop thinking about you”—he’s now defending her from any critics.
“Honestly, if I knew all the heat she was going to catch, I wouldn’t have said any of those things,” Morrey, 32, shared, “because I don’t want her to feel that way at all, and she shouldn’t have to.”
But the bean bag entrepreneur still doesn’t regret ending their romantic relationship in the end.
“I think she’s a really great person,” he noted. “I just don’t think we’re compatible, right? At the end of the day, it is what it is.”
Plus, as Morrey quipped, “She’s way out of the ballpark for me, lookswise. Anyways, girl’s a 10.”

After Benita, 31, first told Morrey she was falling for him in the pods, he questioned her emotions, asking, “Are you sure you just don’t like my voice?” to which she replied, “I’m sure. I like you.”
Once their date ended, he immediately told a costar, “I just got lovebombed.”
Benita, meanwhile, was hoping it would work out.
“I believe in manifestation and it’s so real,” the insurance agent said in a confessional. “My number one guy is Morrey and I don’t know why. He’s just someone that’s so fun.”
