    Watch: Keke Palmer Reacts to Awkward Marriage Proposal From Fan at SXSW

    Keke Palmer and Sean Evans are certainly bringing the heat.

    Especially after fans saw the chemistry flying between the two as the Hot Ones host made an appearance on herBaby, This is Keke Palmer podcast, over two years after confessing he found himself crushing on the True Jackson, VP actress.

    On the May 26 episode of her podcast, Keke introduced Sean as her “potential future suitor” and also “my boo” before bringing him out for a conversation about their experiences as hosts.

    The interview also included a quick detour into their love lives, with Keke, 32, telling Sean her love language is someone telling “me that I’m great,” to which Sean replied, “I’m checking some boxes then.”

    And the 40-year-old couldn’t help but rave about the Nopestar during their interview, admitting, “It’s just fun being with you.”

    The flirtation didn’t end there, however, as when Sean revealed that his childhood crush growing up was Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes from TLC, she had her own connection to the group.

    Keke Palmer Reveals Why She Will Never Live in Same House as Her Romantic Partner

    “I played Chili in the TLC movie,” Keke teased. “Close enough.”

    Proving he knows how to do his research, Sean responded with a laugh, “I know you did. Close enough. Absolutely close enough.”

    And it wasn’t just Keke and Sean feeling the spark, as Keke’s mom SharonPalmer told the YouTuber that watching him with Keke was a “great moment” as he grew up in the more affluent area of Illinois, near where Keke was born.

    “This is great. This is how life should be,” Sharon said from off camera. “The guy from Crystal Lake should be sitting next to the girl from Robbins.”

    Keke was touched by the sentiment, saying, “That’s so sweet, Mom. I love that. Shoutout to Mr. and Mrs. Evans.”

    And though she quickly noted she meant Sean’s parents, he joked, “Oh, I thought you were talking about us.”

    While it remains to be seen if the duo will ever make it official, the fans are certainly hoping they are, with one writing in the YouTube comments, “I normally don’t get invested with celebrity couples but imma need these two together expeditiously.”

    Another replied, “This whole episode was Keke telling Sean how to date her,” while a third chimed in with a quip about how the episode was “the most professional flirting I’ve ever seen.”

    Sean and Keke’s on-screen dynamic goes back years, with Keke appearing on Hot Ones in 2017 and 2021. However, it wasn’t until 2023 that Sean admitted that he found himself crushing on the Scream Queen actress due to their chemistry.

    And Keke—who shares son Leodis, 3, with ex DariusJackson—was sure to take it up a notch when she appeared on Hot Ones again in 2025.

    “There’s one more thing I’d like to say, Sean,” she said. “I saw an interview where you said I was your favorite guest and all this really sweet stuff. And I know we’ve just had some wings, but I thought that maybe we could just have a quick smooch to see if there’s a spark.”

    Sean blushed and didn’t hesitate to accept the kiss, telling her, “Yeah, let’s do it.”

    The two then stood up from the table and shared a quick smooch, with Keke adding, “The spark was sparking. When I’m dying and my life flashes before my eyes, I’ll have that snapshot.”
