India and Sri Lanka once again clash in the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 final at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.
This will be the third straight time the teams meet in the final since the tournament switched to the T20 format, as both sides enter the tie on the back of unbeaten runs in the 2026 edition.

India won the previous final in 2022 by eight wickets, and Sri Lanka won their first ever title after beating India by eight wickets in 2024.
India reached the final after beating Bangladesh by 40 runs, posting 149/6 before restricting their opponent to 109/7 in the first semi-final.
In the second semi-final, at 33/4 at one stage while chasing 131, Sri Lanka made a comeback to beat Pakistan by four wickets.

India are unlikely to make changes after their semi-final performance where Shafali Verma scored 64 and Deepti Sharma recording bowling figures of 3/26.
Deepti is the joint-leading wicket-taker with 11 scalps, while Shafali leads the tournament with 168 runs and Smriti Mandhana has 154.

The defending champions are also expected to retain their semi-final combination, with spin again likely to be key. Sri Lanka have taken 25 wickets through spin, just one fewer than India.
