Watch: Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor Reveals Shocking Reason She Hasn’t Returned
Simone Ashley will always make time for the ton.
After starring as Kate Sharma Bridgerton on season two of Bridgerton and getting her love story with Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony Bridgerton, Simone made it clear that if a call were to come to appear on the Netflix series again, both she and Jonathan would be there.
“I can only comment on what me and Jonny have done,” the 31-year-old shared on the April 13 episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast. “We just really make sure that our schedules can just make it work.”
And as Simone recalled, Jonathan reallyworked hard to briefly appear on seasons three and four of Bridgerton.
“He flew between Toronto and London back and forth whilst he was filming Wicked,” she said. “Thank God I’ve not been filming during the start of this year. I’ve done like eight cities in one month. So that would have been a bit nuts to figure out.”
“But I would have done it,” Simone added. “I would have scheduled it.”
Especially because she and Jonathan feel a “loyalty” to the series, explaining that whenever they’re on set, it’s like they’re all truly part of the Bridgerton family.
“When we go back, there is that environment of coming home,” she said, “and feeling like we’re part of a family.”

Fans can expect to see more of Ashley when Eloise (ClaudiaJesse) gets her moment to shine, as showrunner JessBrownellhinted that Kate will play a big role during Eloise’s season.
“I also am really partial to the relationship between Kate and Eloise,” she told People in March. “That’s something that I’d like to continue following in the future.”
She added, “So when we eventually get to Eloise’s season, Kate is someone I’ll be very interested to have around, if I can.”
And Simone isn’t the only Bridgerton star who is ready to jump back into the 19th century. Costar Phoebe Dynevor—who starred as Daphne Bridgerton in the inaugural season and briefly appeared in season two—is waiting for her chance to rejoin the family.

“I just want to say I have not received a call,” she admitted to Collider Ladies Night in an interview published April 11, “and when I get that call, I will be there if I can.”
But as the 30-year-old explained, when she and Regé-Jean Page—who starred as her husband Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings—originally signed on to the show, there wasn’t quite a firm plan for future seasons.
“When the first season came out they didn’t know what they needed to put in place,” she explained. “So we were like the ones that got away I think, in a certain way. But like we would—I can only speak for myself—I would always come back if I was asked.”
