LAWRENCE — Kansas football’s regular season continues Saturday at home against Middle Tennessee.
The Jayhawks (1-2, 0-1 in the Big 12 Conference) are coming off an open week after a loss in a neutral-site game overseas in London against Arizona State. The Blue Raiders (2-2, 0-1 in Conference USA) lost this past weekend on the road against Jacksonville State. It’s a chance for KU to gather some momentum inside David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

Kansas needs to build some confidence this weekend, after back-to-back disappointing defeats. It’ll need to show that it learned a lot from its ability to take some time during the open week to both get healthier and analyze what has been keeping it from enjoying the success it otherwise could have in recent weeks. Look for the Jayhawks to make the most of that, and leave with a 41-14 win.
