    Watch: Heidi Klum Shares Glimpse of Grotesque 2026 Halloween Costume One Week Before Annual Bash

    With mere hours until Heidi Klum‘s annual Halloween costume reveal, we’ve got problems. And I don’t think we can solve ’em. 

    The holiday’s undisputed queen made a real deep cut when she revealed her 2026 creation is “very, very bloody.” Yet, the ideas simply aren’t flowing to our brains, even after the 53-year-old followed up that tease with an Oct. 28 Instagram glimpse at her prosthetics, asking, “Have u figured it out yet??” 

    In a word, no. 

    But it’s nothing but mad love for spooky season’s most committed star. 

    Because in the Project Runway host’s world, one day you’re a statuesque model, the next you’re Medusa—mechanical snake-covered head to tail. 

    “I’ve been thinking about Medusa for quite some time,” Klum explained to E! News last year of being inspired by the mythological Greek gorgon, “because I’ve seen over the years obviously many, many Medusas, and I thought, ‘You know, one day I’m going to try my own.'”

    In her vision, she continued, “I really wanted to have snakes that were moving, a super-ugly, super-scary face, really ugly teeth, and to be like a really long rattlesnake.”

    Because the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl has long ago said “Auf wiedershen!” to choosing sexy costumes for her annual bash. 

    Though she selected a “Heidi-themed dirndl-type thing in patent leather,” for her inaugural 2000 outing, as she described it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she soon began singing a different tune. 

    “That’s what Halloween is all about,” she explained to People of scaring up some terrifying ‘fits. “We go gory, and we go there.”

    And one year after she turned Tokio Hotel guitarist husband Tom Kaulitz to stone, she’s once again ready to rock, treating her more than 12 million Instagram followers to glimpses of costumes past ahead of the big unveiling. 

    Need more proof that her looks have always been, well, killer? This roundup should do the trick. Check out all the times Klum has simply slayed on Halloween.

    Heidi Klum and her husband Tom Kaulitz opted for a Grecian vibe, with Klum dressing as Medusa while Kaulitz was one of the warriors she turned to stone. “I’ve been thinking about Medusa for quite some time,” Klum told E!     The couple channeled E.T. from the 1982 movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. “I loved being E.T. so much,” she shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in August 2025. However, she admitted, “It was so heavy holding that head on my head because it goes from the back to the front. I thought my neck was going to snap off.”
