While on campus for his official visit with the Washington Huskies, four-star safety Jaden Walk-Green announced that he’s cut his 22 scholarship offers down to four.
Now, Jedd Fisch’s program is fighting with Arizona State, UCLA, and Vanderbilt for his pledge, which he’s set to announce on Saturday, June 20.

Ranked as the No. 349 overall prospect and No. 35 safety in the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite, position coach Taylor Mays and the Huskies originally made an offer to the productive defensive back in January and are viewed as the leader for his services.
Washington holds a pair of crystal balls to reel in the 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect, who has already taken official visits to UCLA and Vanderbilt on May 29 and June 2, respectively, and will round out his slate with a trip to Arizona State on June 12.
Walk-Green was one of the most productive defensive backs in the nation during his junior year, compiling 125 tackles and 10 interceptions while lining up all over the formation, from outside cornerback and nickelback to free and strong safety. However, he appears to fit best as a post safety in defensive coordinator Ryan Walters’ scheme.

One of the most notable things about the product of Corona Centennial High School in Southern California on film is his intense physicality, which is something Washington has made a top priority in the secondary. Walk-Green is a safety who likes to seek out contact, much like Mays and UW safeties Rylon Dillard-Allen and Gavin Day, which could help Walters deploy him at several different spots in the formation.
It’s worth noting that Walk-Green is also a high-level baseball player, and if he were to choose the Huskies, he’s eyeing a future as a two-sport athlete.
