Watch: Vanderpump Rules’ James Kennedy Reveals He’s 48 Days Sober After Domestic Violence Arrest
James Kennedy is going to be a dad.
The Vanderpump Rules alum shared that his girlfriend Jordan Meyers is pregnant with their first baby.
“We are thrilled to share that Jordan and I are expecting our first child together,” Kennedy told People June 11. “We have previously kept our relationship out of the public eye, and this is the first time we’re sharing it publicly. We wanted to keep things personal while we were building our relationship together, and we’ve shared this news privately with close friends and family for some time now.”
Kennedy, 34, and Meyers, 23, initially connected on Instagram and then met in person at one of his shows.
“I’m from North Carolina, so I went to visit James for what was supposed to be ‘three days,’ which has now turned into eight months together,” she told the outlet. “The second I met James, we instantly felt such a strong spark between us.”
Meyers is now four months along in her pregnancy, which Kennedy called “the most incredibly experience” as they have been “watching our love grow and preparing to become parents together.”
“As we prepare for this next chapter, it felt like the right moment to share it more widely,” he added. “This is an incredibly special and meaningful time for us, and we feel deeply grateful to be stepping into this new chapter surrounded by love and support from our family and friends.”
The milestone comes more than one year after Kennedy’s breakup with Ally Lewber, who he dated from 2022 to 2025.
The pair—whose romance was documented on the 10th and 11th seasons of VPR—broke up shortly after James was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence in December 2024, with his case ultimately dropped by prosecutors.
“We are no longer together, but I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing,” Lewber wrote on Instagram in January 2025. “I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James, as I never desired criminal charges.”

She added, “We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”
And since the alleged incident, Kennedy, 34, has taken steps to work on himself. As he put it in a December 2024 statement, “I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life.”
“I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for loved ones,” he continued. “Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”

In fact, Lewber, 30, said she’s proud of how Kennedy has turned his life around since their split.
“From what I’ve heard last is that he’s still in AA and working on himself,” the astrologer told E! News in April 2025, “and he’s deejaying again, which makes me happy,”
Lewber added, “He is a great person who is a bit wounded, so I’m just happy that he’s taking care of himself. I will always wish him the best.”
