Oct. 7 (UPI) — The Minnesota Vikings signed wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jeshaun Jones to their practice squad, they announced Wednesday.
Beckham and Jones will arrive after a wave of injuries hit the Vikings’ wide receivers room, which is led by Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

Jefferson sustained a sprained ankle in the Vikings’ Sept. 27 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did not practice last week or play in the Vikings’ win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in Minneapolis.
Addison led Vikings wide receivers with four catches for 52 yards in that Week 4 victory. Tight end T.J. Hockenson led all Vikings pass catchers with 13 catches for 119 yards.
Addison and Jauan Jennings led Vikings wide receivers in snaps in Week 4. Tai Felton, Myles Price and Jones, who was promoted to the Vikings’ active roster, were among the other wide receivers to see offensive snaps against the Dolphins.
The Vikings waived Jones on Monday, but opted to bring him back. Jones, who primarily plays specials teams snaps, has yet to log his first career catch.

Beckham, who signed with the Giants last off-season, did not log a catch through three games this season. He was released last week.
The three-time Pro Bowl selection, who missed the 2025 season due to an NFL suspension and because he went unsigned, logged 575 catches for 7,987 receiving yards and 60 total touchdowns through the first 122 appearances of his NFL career.
The Vikings (4-0) will face the New Orleans Saints (1-3) at 1 p.m. EDT Sunday in New Orleans.
