    Watch: Victoria Beckham Says She, David Beckham Don’t Put “Any Pressure” on Kids Amid Brooklyn Beckham Feud

    Victoria Beckham wants her kids to follow their dreams. 

    Amid her son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham‘s estrangement from the family, the fashion designer—mom to Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14 with husband David Beckham—reflected on raising her children in the spotlight and her parenting philosophy. 

    “I think that it’s very different parenting adult children to parenting smaller children,” Victoria, 52, shared on the May 5 episode of the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast. “I’m just trying to do the best that I can.”

    “It’s my job to make sure that my kids are the best versions of themselves and that they feel fulfilled,” she continued. “I always encourage them to dream big and then dream even bigger.”

    And while the Spice Girls alum has instilled the importance of her kids using their status to “do good in the world,” she and David don’t set unrealistic expectations and want their children to follow their passions. 

    “We don’t put any pressure on our kids,” Victoria explained. “We just want them to do what they love and to work hard and to be happy.”

    In fact, the Victoria Beckham Beauty founder used her son Cruz’s music career as an example, noting that while she got her start in the music industry, her son’s journey is completely different.

    “He’s in a band. It’s alternative music,” she said. “And what does success look like at an early stage is very different to what success looked like for me with the Spice Girls.”

    “Anything that I could do to support him, to encourage and to help him, that’s my job as his mom,” Victoria shared at another point in the conversation. “It’s never about being pushy or forcing. It’s being there to support.”

    And as for what the Beckham family values most, Victoria said, “Being very close is really, really important to us.” She also emphasized, “Communication is really key.”

    The mom of four’s comments come nearly a month after she broke her silence on the ongoing feud between her son Brooklyn and the rest of the family.

    After the 27-year-old alleged his parents tried to “ruin” his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham in a public statement in January, Victoria spoke out for the first time.

    “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she told The Wall Street Journal in an article published April 16. “And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”

    Nicola Peltz Beckham Was Allegedly in Tears When Wedding Guest Marc Anthony Shouted Out Victoria BeckhamMore fuel for the wedding drama fire: The newlyweds’ first dance didn’t go as expected, and it’s extremely unclear why it went down as it allegedly did.“Brooklyn and Nicola were under the impression they were being gifted their first dance by Marc Anthony,” a source told E! News in May 2025. Instead, the singer announced, “‘Please welcome to the stage the most beautiful woman in the room—Victoria Beckham.’ Brooklyn wasn’t quite sure what to do and was put in an awkward situation.”Moreover, the source continued, “Nicola left the room crying. And the May story about Nicola being brought to tears at her own wedding three years ago may have been a harbinger of more to come.In response to reports that Brooklyn and Nicola had hired a lawyer who has worked with the oft-written-about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a source with knowledge confirmed to E! News that the couple do have a lawyer, but not for “reputation management.”Rather, the source said, they have hired Jenny Afi of U.K. law firm Schillings “to set the record straight, combat spread of misinformation.”And while the solicitor’s clientele includes the Sussexes, who counted the soon-to-be-knighted David and Victoria among their wedding guests in 2018, “there is absolutely no connection to Meghan and Harry,” the insider added. “Schillings is a respected firm with a wide range of clients.”Suggesting otherwise, the source said, ironically demonstrated “exactly why one hires legal counsel, to set the record straight and combat the spread of deliberate misinformation.”

    Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’s Wedding DJ Fat Tony Addresses First DanceDays after Brooklyn’s Instagram statement, DJ Fat Tony, who was behind the turntable at his and Nicola’s vows, gave his spin on their first dance that wasn’t. Affirming Brooklyn’s account that Marc invited “the most beautiful woman in the room” up to the stage to dance, only to say Victoria’s name instead of Nicola’s, Tony said on ITV Jan. 23, “Brooklyn’s literally devastated, because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife. Then Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out.” “They do this dance,” Tony continued, “and Marc Anthony’s like, ‘Go put your hands on your mother’s hips.’ And it was a Latin, you know, Latin thing. And the whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room.” (E! News reached out to Marc’s rep for comment, but didn’t hear back.)

    Nicola Peltz Beckham’s Dad Nelson Peltz Speaks OutAsked about the whole situation during his appearance at The Wall Street Journal’s Invest Live event in West Palm Beach, Fla., Feb. 3, 2026, Nicola’s dad Nelson gave his two cents. “Has my family been in the press lately?” he quipped. “I haven’t noticed that at all.” Though he declined to discuss the details, Nelson shared, “My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story.     Gordon Ramsay Urges Brooklyn Peltz Beckham to End the FeudAs a longtime friend of David and Victoria, chef Gordon Ramsay served up his take on the situation weeks after Brooklyn’s post.”I want Brooklyn just to take a moment to yourself and just remember you’re half-mum, half-dad,” he explained in a February 2026 interview with The Sun. “You’re an amazing young man, but boy, they’ve done more for you than anyone will do in your entire life—any father-in-law, let me tell you.”He’s actually said as much to Brooklyn, revealing he’d messaged a bit back and forth with the business founder. “It’s a very difficult situation,” Gordon acknowledged. “And listen I love him. His heart is incredible but it’s hard, isn’t it, when you’re infatuated. Love is blind. They say it for a reason.”“So, he’s desperate to stand on his own two feet, he’s desperate to forge his own way—and I respect that from Brooklyn,” he continued. “And that’s a good thing to do. But remember where you came from and honestly, one day you’re not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that.” Brooklyn’s brother Cruz similarly shared that he thinks they can cook up a détente. Asked on Brooklyn’s 27th birthday if he believed they could reconcile, he told TMZ, “I hope so.”
