Projects from Vancouver producers Seth Rogen and Ryan Reynolds collected hardware at the 78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The two-day awards ceremonies, which were not televised, focused on technical, artistic, craft and behind-the-scenes achievements. This year, for the first time, they also included specific guest acting and reality categories. The Primetime Emmy Awards, which honour acting, directing, writing, and overall top series categories, will be broadcast on NBC on Sept. 14.

Produced by Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures, The Muppet Show received six Emmy nominations and notched wins for outstanding variety special (pre-recorded), outstanding writing for a variety special, outstanding picture editing for variety programming and outstanding production design for a variety special.
