United States men’s national team star Gio Reyna has been linked with another transfer after the World Cup.
Reyna has already played for Borussia Dortmund, Nottingham Forest and Borussia Monchengladbach in the last three seasons.

He struggled with injuries throughout the 2025/26 campaign and made just 19 Bundesliga appearances, scoring one goal.
Reyna had a slightly more impactful World Cup with the United States, scoring in their 4-1 victory over Paraguay.
The 23-year-old is now wanted by Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, who are owned by the same consortium as Chelsea (BlueCo).
The Athletic has reported that Strasbourg are “in talks” to sign Gio Reyna from Borussia Monchengladbach this summer.
Reyna had a majorly disappointing season for Monchengladbach, contributing one goal and one assist as they finished 12th.

However, every American soccer fan knows Reyna has the talent to reach the highest level if everything falls into place.
Strasbourg could be an ideal next step for the 23-year-old, who would be competing with Julio Enciso for the No. 10 position.
