President Donald Trump has dismissed fears of a possible impeachment following the Democrats’ takeover of Congress after the just-concluded midterm elections in the United States.
DAILY POST reports that the Democrats secured a resounding victory in Tuesday’s midterm elections, winning control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
The victory saw the party displace Trump’s Republican Party from control of Congress, raising concerns among the president’s supporters that Democrats could move to impeach him.
However, speaking during an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, Trump said an attempt to impeach him would destroy the Democratic Party.
