UFC Fight Night 291 fight week is here, and the main eventers have already set the tone with an early faceoff.
Standing outside of Rogers Place, the venue which hosts the event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Joaquin Buckley and Mike Malott shared their first fight week faceoff.

Ontario’s Malott (14-2-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) will no doubt have full support of the Canadian crowd when he and Buckley (21-8 MMA, 11-6 UFC) meet in the welterweight headlining act Saturday evening (Paramount+). Prior to that, there are several fight week activities to handle first, which include an intense outdoor faceoff at the venue.
While the two fighters got a good look at each other, an apparent supporter of Buckley repeatedly yelled, “You f*cked up, champ!”
